More Suggestions!
Tomorrow is February, which means it’ll be the first day of this month’s story-telling project. I’ve gotten a lot of suggestions so far and I’m looking for more!
Send them to me by e-mail/Facebook/whatever. I hope to get enough suggestions so I can pick my favorite ones to inspire stories.

February 2010 Challenge
Hey Everyone,
This year, I’m taking on a new daily challenge every month. I’m challenging myself to not judge my ideas and get in the habit of producing a lot of material and letting the best rise to the top.
Anyway, for January, I’ve come up with at least one original screenplay logline idea. So far, so good. A lot of my movie ideas are terrible. Several are decent. But...

Diora Baird was supposed to play an Orion girl in Star Trek. Her only scene was deleted. This is it. Watching it generates more questions than it answers.
This is one of the deleted scenes included in the Blu-Ray and DVD. According to the commentary with J.J. Abrams, she’s only there so Kirk can mistake her for Gaila in this funny scene.
FYI: The Blu-Ray is packed with great...

Conan:
“Before we end this rodeo, a few things need to be said. There has been a lot of speculation in the press about what I legally can and can’t say about NBC. To set the record straight, tonight I am allowed to say anything I want. And what I want to say is this: between my time at Saturday Night Live, The Late Night Show, and my brief run here on The Tonight Show, I have worked with...
Some Thoughts
Often, non-comedians who start taking improv classes believe (or hope) that taking these classes will make them funnier. Unfortunately, that’s impossible. A lot of “being funny” is innate and can’t be taught. Improv classes don’t teach you how to be funny. What improv classes do teach you, however, is to react to what’s funny. And that skill is extremely...

What a fucking mess!
It took architects, draftsmen, masons, woodworkers, and hundreds of laborers...
– From “Stupid History,” my 2010 desk calendar.
chelc asked: whats the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you in the last 5 years?
sussybuckets asked: Achilles, I have always been confused by the fact that your name is Greek, but you yourself are NOT Greek. What's going on here?

Gift Receipt on Funny or Die - please reblog and vote up if you like it! Featuring myself and Rob Stern, camera work by Veronica Osorio.
We shot at Hamlet’s Vintage on Bleecker. This was only the second time I’ve had to get permission to use a location. I’m generally pessimistic about my chances of clearing shoots with owners because they tend get all antsy about cameras, but...
